There is something very special about a private elopement wedding in the altitude and vastness of the mountains of Montana and the quietness of nature. Nastasya and Tony were married on a Saturday in August on a beautiful mountainside at the Lone Mountain Guest Ranch. I felt blessed to attend and capture the beauty and the feeling of this occasion. Enjoy the view!
Big Sky Weddings
Big Horn Wyoming – Ooh La La!
This is the second wedding in the last 12 months that I have been invited to photograph in my neighboring state of Wyoming and once again… I loved every minute of it! Warm weather, big hearts, mountainous vistas and the great big Wyoming sky. This place calls me back, time and again. This wedding was originally planned for Yellowstone Park, however the plan didn’t prove out in the face of post covid complications. So, off they went to Wyoming and it was a fabulous day of FAMILY, FRIENDS and LOVE!
Congratulations to my new friends Michelle and Lance! Enjoy the view!
A huge heart felt THANK YOU goes out to my dear friend Cali Frankovic for finding her way to Wyoming to share in the image making fun!
Big Sky wedding at the 320 Ranch
Personally I can’t get enough of the 320 Ranch in Big Sky and I love making images in this luscious mountain valley. This spring I’m thrilled to be returning for another wedding!
Holden and Greg convened with their family and friends for this splendid wedding day. The weather was wonderful and they were spared the afternoon showers that had been the normal course of events on the ranch this summer.
Abundant and beautiful flowers were produced by the talented Katalin Green. The wedding arbor was simply gorgeous. Thanks to Carlie Breen Auger for joining me as second camera. Many of the photos in this collection were captured by her adept perception and eye for beauty! AND once again Carlie will be my partner in image making! I’m stoked!
Enjoy the view
November in Paradise
Paradise Valley Montana is a visual delight just about any time of year. This engagement session in November was no exception and this couple drove all the way from Kentucky to visit their venue for next summer’s wedding and to spend some time in front of my camera in my backyard.
Emily serves in the military and it was an honor and a pleasure to make some images with these two. A really delightful couple!
The images look warm but the breeze made it a little brisk at about 50 degrees. The intense sun and quick shooting helped us stay comfortable and happy.
Enjoy the view!

Bozeman Wedding, 320 Ranch
Last Saturday found me at the historic Soldiers Chapel and the beautiful 320 Guest Ranch for the wedding of Kathleen and Charles. The last time I saw this couple it was blowing snow in sub freezing temperatures… and too cold to be making images. But that is exactly what we did! We shot for about 17 minutes start to finish! This time it was a wonderful Montana summer day in a high mountain valley 1000 feet above Bozeman, Montana with delicious breezes and the warm sun poking in and out of puffy whites. Sublime!
I was pleased to be accompanied by my daughter Jennie Lynn as second shooter. She is a highly accomplished photographer in her own right and she makes the wedding day seem to glide by with such grace. Her photography speaks for itself.
From the early moments of getting ready, to the light stick send off and the dancing that went on and on after that… it was a grand event. Kudos to Lauren Schoenborn of Beautifully Born events of Bozeman for all the hard work and seamless coordination.
Congratulations to Kathleen and Charles! May your years be many and always filled with love!
Now, enjoy the wedding album… and then my favorite stills!
