Cowgirl Yogatography 2022

This was the 10th anniversary of Cowgirl Yogatography, the brain child of Margaret Burns Vap and myself. Annually, we have gathered a handful of voginis that are students of photography for this amazing retreat that combines yoga with photography studies and time on this beautiful ranch. My daughter Jennie Lynn co teaches this retreat with me and I could not do it without her!

Here are just a few images that I pulled off my camera card this morning. Enjoy the view!

Hi Larry! As one of the six women who attended Cowgirl Yogatography last month, I cannot thank you and Jennie Lynn enough for your excellent teaching and coaching, as well as the sheer FUN of being out there shooting and interacting with each of you! I needed your photography course to get me away from taking photos on “Automatic.” Especially helpful were the multiple structured 2 hour sessions of shooting photos in response to your varied suggestions, each session followed by discussion and feedback based on our photos. In addition, it was a special pleasure to meet and spend time with you, Heather, and Jennie Lynn. And I have not even mentioned the eye-opening joy of studying your own photographs. Many thanks!
